State and Territory Training Authorities (STAs)

State Training Authorities are government departments in each State or Territory responsible for the operation of the Vocational Education and Training (VET) system (including Australian Apprenticeships) within that jurisdiction.

Victoria
Skills Victoria

The Victorian Training Guarantee is making vocational education and training more accessible to people who do not hold a post-school qualification, or who want to gain a higher level qualification than they already hold.

There are now an unlimited number of government subsidised training places available to people who meet the eligibility criteria.

Your business can quantify staff and recognise their skill, knowledge and experience through a nationally recognised qualification.

For your participation, your company will receive a tax free incentive payment. In effect your own tax dollars are coming back to support your business as a responsible employer.

Tax free incentive surplus able to fund training for employees who are ineligible.

Training cost interstate excluding Victoria is approximately cost neutral.
